Damian Ordish as Head of People is one of four senior leadership appointments at the HYCAP Group, aimed at spearheading initiatives toward clean hydrogen and the net-zero energy transition market.
HYCAP Group appoints Damian Ordish as Head of People

HYCAP Group, a UK-based private equity firm, has announced the appointment of Damian Ordish as the new Head of People, with immediate effect.

Assuming his new role, Damian brings over 24 years of experience across the financial services, technology, and FinTech sectors globally. His core expertise in leading and transforming HR functions has led to the growth and expansion of global organizations. Before his appointment, he was serving Vialto Partners as the HR Leader for UK, Ireland, the Middle East, and Africa operations.

In his previous roles, Damian has held key leadership positions, including Global Head of People at BitMEX, Chief People Officer at Myria, Managing Director, Co-Head of Regional HR Business Partners, Head of Regional Reward at Goldman Sachs, Vice President of Reward at Goldman Sachs, and Consultant, Human Resource at PwC.

Apart from Damian, the group has also appointed senior leaders, including Luke Spencer-Wilson as the New Chief Operating Officer, Ben Madden as the Chief Technology Officer, and Scott Lanphere as the Chief Investment Officer. They will all be assuming responsibilities under the leadership of the recently appointed CEO, James Munce, to spearhead the group’s initiatives towards clean hydrogen and the net-zero energy transition market.
