Swiss Re appoints Pranav Pasricha as Global Head P&C Solutions

Pranav succeeds Eric Schuh, who is leaving Swiss Re to pursue a new exciting challenge outside the Group and will be leaving the company towards the end of 2020.
Swiss Re appoints Pranav Pasricha as Global Head P&C Solutions

Swiss Re announced that Pranav Pasricha, currently CEO of Intellect SEEC, has been appointed Global Head P&C Solutions of Swiss Re's global Reinsurance Business Unit, effective 3 August 2020. Pranav succeeds Eric Schuh, who is leaving Swiss Re to pursue a new exciting challenge outside the Group and will be leaving the company towards the end of 2020. 

In his new role, Pranav will report to Jason Richards, Head Casualty Underwriting Reinsurance, and become a member of the Casualty Leadership Team. Pranav will be based in Armonk, US.

For the last six years, Pranav was the CEO of Intellect SEEC, an insurance technology company offering data, machine learning, and cloud-based solutions to commercial P&C and life insurance clients globally. Earlier, Pranav was responsible for strategy, technology, and operations for QBE Insurance across Australia Asia Pacific, leading the build-up of its eBusiness capabilities and digital transformation of underwriting and claims. Prior to that Pranav worked in strategy and operations consulting with Booz Allen and A.T. Kearney across high tech, financial services, and telecoms.
