Following the retirement of Accenture Federal Services CHRO Susann Bresnahan, the company has promoted Lisa Sherhart to assume her responsibilities.

Accenture Federal Services, a US-based IT consulting subsidiary of Accenture, has announced the appointment of Lisa Sherhart as Chief Human Resources Officer, effective from December 1, 2023. She will assume responsibilities from Susann Bresnahan, who will be retiring after 45 years of service with the company.

In her new role, Sherhart will oversee all aspects of human resources, encompassing talent acquisition, inclusion & diversity, learning and development, retention and advancement, HR technology, and more.

Sherhart, who has 30 years of core expertise, has been a part of Accenture's subsidiary since 2012. She currently serves as the Deputy Human Resources Director and has been the key role as the executive sponsor of the company's I&D function as well as, overseeing the transition of employees for the company's acquired businesses. Previously, she served Accenture as Senior Manager of HR for over 17 years.
