Taiger appoints ex-President of SAP, Stephen Watts as Chief Operating Officer

Former President and COO at SAP across Asia, Stephen Watts, who led the company's revenue growth to over 2.6billion euro, is appointed as Chief Operating Officer, Taiger to accelerate the global growth of their AI centered business.

A Singapore-based artificial intelligence company, Taiger earlier this week announced the appointment of former SAP President and COO, Stephen Watts, as Chief Operating Officer. The recent appointment follows the earlier appointment of IBM executive Bruno Di Leo to the TAIGER Board of Directors. 

Thrilled about the new role, Stephan Watts was in line with Taiger's objective to expand its operations to businesses and government agencies. To do so he will be capitalising the company's technological advancements. He will also target consistent market growth within the information technology industry.

Congratulating Watts on his new appointment, Sinuhé Arroyo, founder and Chief Executive Officer at TAIGER said that Watts would be their strategic partner. His experience, skills and expertise are a good fit for achieving Taiger's goals and accelerating overall growth. In this role, Watts will champion the role of hybrid AI in unlocking higher productivity for enterprises. 

A technology and software expert, Watts, formerly worked at SAP as Chief Operating Officer and President across Asia Pacific Japan, from 2007-2013. He handled and led SAP's transformative growth in its initial phase as well as managed global operations. Watts played a major role in generating the company's revenue growth to over 2.6 billion euro yearly.

Taiger, at present, has over 50 global projects across various industries in Singapore, Madrid, Moscow, Dubai and Mexico. With the new appointment, the artificial intelligence platform plans on scaling up its business internationally in automation of mission-critical, cognitive processes with their natural language processing and hybrid AI technology.
