Blackstone, one of the top global investment companies, last week announced the appointment of Hala Zeine as the Managing Director for technology sector in the Portfolio Operations group. Zeine will work closely and in partnership with Blackstone's technology portfolio companies, enhancing overall growth and advancement of the firm. In her new role, she is entrusted to assess, identify, and advise Blackstone's investment panel about the prospects in the technology sector. She will also put special emphasis on the European market.

“Hala is a world-class technology executive who has a deep and broad range of experience across sales and marketing, customer operations, and product management. Her depth of experience, combined with her collaborative approach, will add tremendous value to our companies and their leadership teams," said Jennifer Morgan, Global Head of Portfolio Operations, Blackstone.

Zeine, based in Munich, is a global technology executive with more than 20 years of experience, and has worked for different companies including SAP, Celonis and Tomtom gaining overall expertise in supervision and audit, portfolio and pricing strategy, business development and supply chain management. In her last role, she worked as a Chief Product Officer at Celonis, a global software company based out of Germany. Here, Zeine played a major role running product and go-to-market strategy, product management, and product-related partnerships. Moreover, Zeine has worked at SAP for more than 10 years in the corporate executive sector including business development and digital supply chain product business. Zeine is a graduate with Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) from Bentley University.
