Corporate ground transportation management platform Gett has announced the appointment of Mandeep Bajwa as Chief People Officer with effect 11 May.

Bajwa was formerly Senior Director, People Partners, with WeWork in the EMEA region and prior to that also held a similar role with WeWork's UK and Ireland operations. Before joining WeWork, she was Head of HR at Camelot, the company that operates the UK National Lottery.

Dave Waiser, CEO and co-founder of Gett commented: “Mandeep is a highly-respected people leader and brings years of experience from across the technology ecosystem. Her role will be of paramount importance as the business transitions and expands its corporate Ground Transportation Management solution globally, and I am excited to have her on board to oversee our talent.”

London-headquartered Gett is in the midst of expanding its platform's geographical coverage and supply partnerships. Earlier this year, it raised US$115 million in a funding round for the expansion. While the company has not confirmed the extent to which it will expand its headcount, it is currently hiring extensively around the world, primarily for R&D and product development-related positions.
