AvePoint hires Stuart Robertson as its first Chief People Officer

The Microsoft 365 data management solutions provider is bringing on an executive-level HR leader in advance of a planned initial public merger.
AvePoint hires Stuart Robertson as its first Chief People Officer

Data management solutions provider AvePoint, a major global partner of Microsoft 365, announced on 16 June that Stuart Robertson has been hired as its first Chief People Officer. His appointment comes just two weeks after AvePoint announced its merger with acquisition company Apex, a move that will involve the scaling of its talent management and acquisition strategies.

Robertson has over 20 years' experience in HR leadership, specialising in talent management, leadership development, and internal mobility. He was previously Head of HR at Richemont North America. Prior to that he was Vice President HR – Global Corporate Groups at fashion brand house Tapestry, and Global HR Lead - Worldwide Regulatory and Safety at Pfizer. His roles have been international, covering geographies ranging from North Asia to Australia.

In his new role, Robertson will spearhead initiatives targeted at enhancing the employee experience and evolving talent within the company to achieve broad business goals. He has stated that he plans to work on talent development and upskilling programmes.

"I am excited to lead our talent and growth strategy, in partnership with an exceptional leadership team, with whom I feel a strong alignment on values and priorities."
