The Coca-Cola Company has named Drew Fernandez as the new Vice President and HR Head of its Europe Operating Unit.

Fernandez is a seasoned business and human resources professional with solid global, regional, and local experience across the consumer goods, technology, and business process outsourcing industries.

He confirmed his new beginning with Coca-Cola in a Linkedin post. “I’m happy to share that I’m starting a new position as Vice President and Head of Human Resources, Coca-Cola Europe Operating Unit at The Coca-Cola Company!,” wrote Fernandez.

Prior to this role, Fernandez served as the global chief people officer of Coca-Cola Bottling Investments Group. As global head of the human resources function and member of the Coca-Cola Bottling Investments Group Senior Leadership Team, he was responsible for 45,000 associates and 800 HR professionals across all Coca-Cola-owned bottlers around the world. He was also a member of the Coca-Cola Bottling Investments Group Senior Leadership Team.

Prior to that, he worked in leadership roles in the Philippines and Asia Pacific.
