Clifford Capital names JPMorgan’s Murlidhar Maiya as its new group CEO

Murlidhar Maiya’s association with JPMorgan has come to an end after 25 years at the helm.
Clifford Capital names JPMorgan’s Murlidhar Maiya as its new group CEO

Murlidhar Maiya of JPMorgan has been named the new CEO and executive director of Temasek backed Clifford Capital. Maiya has succeeded outgoing CEO Clive Kerner, who will retire from the company at the end of the third quarter. The outgoing CEO will continue to serve the company in a senior advisory role till his retirement at the end of the year.

Maiya joins Clifford Capital after spending more than 25 years with JPMorgan. Most recently, Maiya served as the head of equity capital markets (ECM) in Asia Pacific. Earlier, he was the CEO of JPMorgan’s South and Southeast Asia businesses.

Clifford Capital is a specialist provider of debt financing solutions globally to companies and projects with a nexus to Singapore in the infrastructure and maritime sectors.
