Citi appoints Tibor Pandi as Singapore Country Officer

Pandi, who comes with more than two decades of experience, will oversee Citi’s businesses and operations in Singapore.

CITI has appointed Tibor Pandi as its new Singapore Country Officer. His appointment will come into effect on February 1.

In his new role, Pandi will oversee the firm's businesses and operations in the country. Besides, he has also been tasked with driving overall franchise performance.

Pandi, who comes with more than two decades of experience, will report to Amol Gupte, head of South Asia and Asean for Citi.

Earlier, he worked with Citi’s European branches in various capacities in Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Romania, and Bulgaria.  In his most recent role, he served Citi as country officer for Thailand. Pandi’s association with Citi group started 21 years ago when he joined the as director in 2001. He also worked with ABN AMRO as an associate for one year.

A Budapest University of Economic Science graduate, Tibor has been shortlisted for the new position based on his proven track record of the region, clients, and business. “He is expected to help Citi’s clients capture the emerging growth opportunities,” said Gupte.
