Fund manager BlackRock has announced the appointments of heads of its Greater China and Singapore wealth teams.

Dennis Quah has joined BlackRock as the Singapore Wealth head and Mandy Lui will join the firm in mid-August as head of Greater China Wealth in Hong Kong. Dennis’ appointment to the post has come into effect on July 24.

In his new role, Dennis has been assigned the responsibility of establishing partnerships with consumer banks, private banks, and insurers. Additionally, he will collaborate with the firm's specialists to develop client portfolios.

Before joining BlackRock, Dennis worked in asset management, distribution, and product development throughout Asia markets for close to two decades.

Dennis was head of wholesale distribution and head of product for Asia at Columbia Threadneedle Investments, EMEA Apac, up until June 2023. He was also previously with Amundi, OCBC and Schroders, according to his LinkedIn profile.
