Nielsen appoints Nicolina Marzicola as Chief People Officer

Nielsen, a US-based data and analytics firm, has announced the appointment of Nicolina Marzicola as the global Chief People Officer, with immediate effect.

In her new role, Nicolina brings over 26 years of experience encompassing talent acquisition, talent management, total rewards, and workforce planning. She will be responsible for global HR functions, overseeing talent and culture initiatives including talent acquisition, compensation and benefits, learning and development, HR operations, and reporting. She previously worked with HP in several leadership roles, including Global Head of HR, Regional Head of HR overseeing APAC-Japan, and Vice President of HR.

Welcoming Nicolina to the leadership team, Karthik Rao, CEO of Nielsen, stated, "Nicolina will play a crucial role in our ability to operate with greater agility by transforming where and how Nielsen works. I’m confident that her years of human resources experience will instill in our organisation a shared sense of purpose as we drive toward our bold vision for the future."
