Barracuda Networks appoints Kim Mota as new CHRO

Barracuda Networks, a US-based IT security company, has announced the appointment of Kim Mota as its new Chief Human Resources Officer, with immediate effect.

Kim brings over 28 years of HR leadership experience across IT, retail, manufacturing, BFSI, and Telecommunications sectors. Her core competencies include employee relations, talent management, change management, succession planning, career path planning and development, performance management, lean business process improvement, compensation, and reward and recognition. She will be responsible for employee success in alignment with the company's business growth and expansion strategy.

Prior to her appointment, Kim worked with Poly in the role of Senior Vice President and Chief People Officer for over four years. She also served Integrated Device Technology (IDT) as the Head of Global HR, Yahoo as the Senior HR Business Partner, Cypress Semiconductor Corp. as the Manager HRBP, and the Home Depot as the HR Manager.

Academically, Kim holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in HR and Personnel Administration from San Jose State University.
