After rejoining Dingdong in 2019 as the Head of HR, Hongli Gong has been promoted to the position of Chief Human Resources Officer, overseeing the overall HR function of the online grocery firm.
Dingdong appoints Hongli Gong as the Chief Human Resources Officer

Dingdong (Cayman), China’s leading online grocery platform, has announced the appointment of Hongli Gong as the Chief Human Resources Officer, effective December 2023.

Gong, who recently held the role of Senior Vice President, will oversee the entire HR function of the e-commerce company. In her new role, she brings over 10 years of expertise in HR and people success. She previously worked with Dingdong for two years before leaving in 2017, then rejoined in 2019 as the Head of Human Resources. Her core competencies include recruitment, learning and development, talent management, culture, and employee engagement.

In her previous roles, Gong served Taimei Technology as an HRBP. She also worked with Pactera Technology and a pharma industry-focused recruitment firm. On the academic front, she holds a bachelor's degree in clinical medicine from Weifang Medical University.

Welcoming Gong to her elevated role, Changlin Liang, the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer at Dingdong, stated, “We are pleased to announce Ms. Gong’s promotion. The promotion is intended to improve Dingdong's overall operating efficiency and effectiveness.
