UiPath names former Google Cloud exec co-CEO

UiPath, the RPA company that went public a year ago, hired Rob Enslin, most recently the president of sales at Google Cloud to share CEO duties with founder and current CEO Daniel Dines.

Enslin, a former Google Cloud executive who brings more than 30 years of enterprise software experience, will work alongside UiPath Founder and current Chief Executive Officer Daniel Dines, according to a release from the company.

Rob has spent the last three years as the President of Google Cloud. Prior to joining Google, he spent 27 years at SAP with his last title being president of the cloud business group and executive board member.

“This is not a unique leadership structure. Many fast-growing technology companies – like Salesforce – have recognized that “two is better than one” and are leveraging the Co-CEO role to drive focus, action orientation, and faster decision-making,” wrote Daniel in a note to his employees.

As the Co-CEO, Rob will focus on scaling business. “This will allow me to concentrate on our company culture, vision, and product innovation. These are the areas I’ve been the most passionate about since we founded UiPath,” Daniel added in the note.
