Votiro ropes in Ravi Srinivasan as Chief Executive Officer

Cybersecurity firm Votiro this week announced the appointment of Ravi Srinivasan as Chief Executive Officer. In his new role, Srinivasan will lead the company's US growth and capital raising strategy with the objective of driving its expansion into global markets. He will be responsible for managing Votiro's business development, global operations and strategies, and brand management.

Srinivasan comes with over 20 years of experience in cyber security, corporate strategy, advanced technology, mergers and acquisitions, digital go-to-market and partnerships. Prior to Votiro, he has served numerous leadership roles in different companies including NTT Limited, Imageware, Forcepoint, IMB, Synopsys, and Texas Instruments.

“I am thrilled to be joining Votiro and look forward to enhancing the company’s global operations and position within the malware prevention market," he said of his new appointment.

Simultaneously with Srinivasan's appointment, Votiro announced that Chris Fedde has been appointed Chairman of Votiro’s Board of Directors. Fedde formerly served Votiro as an operational board member. Former Chairman Daniel Sekers will be shifted to the role of Regional APAC Chairman and Non-Executive Director. Fedde and Chris, with their expertise in the respective industries, will perform better together as the company charts its next growth phase, says Sekers.

Speaking on Srinivasan's appointment, new Chairman Fedde said: “Ravi comes to Votiro with the ideal skills and experience we need to accelerate our successes with enterprises that want to prevent weaponised file attacks like ransomware. His knowledge of cloud and SaaS security products makes Ravi best positioned to help Votiro expand its U.S. and global presence.”
