This is the second technology assets acquisition Visier has made this year, following the May acquisition of Yva.ai's assets.

People analytics firm Visier has announced the acquisition of Boostrs, a SaaS platform that maps candidate or employee skills through the analysis of documents and other data. As part of the deal, Visier has acquired Boostrs technology assets and hired 10 engineers and data scientists from the Boostrs team, and the Boostrs headquarters in Paris will become a Visier satellite office. The financial terms are undisclosed.

While the announcement does not state whether Boostrs will continue to operate as a brand, a statement on the Boostrs website now directs all inquiries to Visier.

Boostrs was founded in 2017 by Vincent Lebunetel, Catalin Ciobanu, and Gregoire Boutin, as a platform for consolidating and analysing HR data from multiple sources. Statistics from Crunchbase indicate that it had secured approximately 1.2 million euros (US$1.185 million) in funding as of the time of the acquisition.

Calling the Boostrs technology "an incredibly powerful jobs and skills mapping engine", Ryan Wong, co-founder and CEO of Visier, said: "Adding Boostrs to Visier's technology stack gives our customers an essential linkage for closing the gap between the skills they have and the skills they need to survive and thrive in changing market landscapes."

This is the second asset acquisition Visier, which hit unicorn status last year, has made in 2022. In May, Visier announced that it had acquired collaboration analytics firm Yva.ai for an undisclosed sum.
