Vishpala Reddy would be taking over as the Chief HR Officer India and South Asia at Uber. 

During her long tenure of 12 years with American Express, Vishpala Reddy started out as the Director of Compensation and Benefits for India in 2005 and was appointed the Vice President and the Head HR for India in 2014. In between this time, Vishpala was also assigned the role of Director of Compensation and Benefits for Japan, India, and Asia.

In her last role with American Express, Vishpala was responsible for driving the complete talent strategy for more than 12,000 employees across businesses and service lines.

She also helped steer the company through a phase of exceptional growth in the region, and also played a critical role in driving the transformation of the Indian business, positioning American Express as an Employer of Choice and championing Diversity and Inclusion by institutionalizing programs like Reach Out. During her tenure with American Express, it has also consistently been voted among the Top Great Place to Work.

Prior to joining American Express, Vishpala Reddy was a consultant at Aon Hewitt and worked extensively in the area of Performance & Rewards across the IT and the ITES industry. She has also worked with Cognizant Technology Solutions.
