Swiss multinational speciality chemicals company Clariant appoints Tatiana Berardinelli as Chief Human Resources Officer and Head of Group HR, who will formally assume the role on August 1, 2021.
Tatiana Berardinelli appointed as Clariant’s Chief Human Resource Officer

Tatiana Berardinelli has been appointed as Clariant’s new Chief Human Resources Officer and Head of Group HR. She has over 15 years of experience in human resources, employee experience, and operational excellence. She will officially take on the role on 1st August 2021.

“I am very pleased to announce Tatiana Berardinelli as Clariant’s new Chief Human Resources Officer and Head of Group HR. With her strong background in HR and her international experience in business transformation, acquisition integration, and organizing for growth, I am convinced she will fulfill a vital role in Clariant’s target to grow revenue and profitability of our core Business Areas”, said Conrad Keijzer, Chief Executive Officer of Clariant.

Berardinelli was previously working as Global Head of People’s Operations at PPG Industries in Pittsburgh, USA. In February 2019, she was the HR Director at Global Architectural Coatings, responsible for US & Canada and Corporate Functions. Prior to that, she was the HR Director of Global Automotive, Corporate Functions & US and Canada. Her work credentials also include assuming the role of Global HR Director at Automotive OEM Coatings and Latin America.

Berardinelli had also been a part of Eastman Chemical Company where she was the Global HR Director of Chemical Intermediates and Corporate Development and Specialty Plastics and Marketing & Sales. She spent six years at The Dow Chemical Company where she donned different roles like starting as Manager of Global Talent and then climbed the success ladder with positions like HR Business Partner, Global Compensation Director, HR Director, Global HR Director - Diversity & Inclusion, Legal, Public Affairs & Government Affairs.

Her education qualifications are also a mark of her excellence and brilliance. Berardinelli holds a BA in Business Administration from the Universidad del Norte in Barranquilla, Colombia, and a Master’s of Science in Business Administration from the Jonkoping International Business School in Sweden. She has also done a one-year course in Modern CHO Role & Strategies for Success Program from Cornell University in 2019.
