DocuSign brings on former Salesforce APAC COO

Electronic agreements management firm DocuSign has announced the appointment of Dan Bognar as Group Vice President and General Manager for APJ. In this role, he will support the company's efforts to drive rapid digital transformation for customers across the region.

Bognar has over 30 years of experience in the tech industry, ranging from sales. to business consulting, to leadership roles. Prior to joining DocuSign, he was Chief Operating Officer for Salesforce in the Asia Pacific and had also previously held various senior leadership roles across the region. He also spent over 10 years with Oracle.

"DocuSign will help define how people live and work for years to come, particularly in managing the agreements that shape their personal and professional lives," said Bognar. "I'm thrilled to be joining an organisation that dedicates itself to improving the lives of customers by providing fast, efficient and automated ways to digitally transform their agreement process.”

Michael Sheridan, President of International, DocuSign, observed that the company's APJ team has expanded significantly over the last year. He said: “The addition of someone as accomplished as Dan to lead this growth is essential as we broaden our focus and continue to scale. His extensive experience working across a variety of functions like technology, business consulting and leadership will help drive our company and our customers’ success forward.”

DocuSign had also hired two new C-level global executives within months of each other last year, Kamal Hathi as Chief Technology Officer and Cynthia Gaylor as Chief Financial Officer. The company has seen rapid growth in the APJ region as businesses digitalise their processes.
