In his new role at Wipro, former Hewlett Packard executive Soeren Lorenzen will be responsible for leading APMEA’s sales, marketing, and partnerships teams.

Indian technology services and consulting company Wipro has appointed Soeren Lorenzen as Chief Growth Officer for Asia Pacific, Middle East and Africa (APMEA). He confirmed his appointment in a social media post.

 “It is my privilege to be a part of Wipro’s ambitious journey of transformation and excellence. The company’s vision, culture and purpose-led outlook are truly inspiring!,” posted Lorenzen on Linkedin.

“I look forward to driving APMEA’s growth charter – across sales, marketing and partnerships, bringing the best of our global capabilities to customers in the region.”

As Lorenzen started his new career journey, he thanked all his clients, ex-colleagues and mentors who always placed their trust in his abilities and helped me outperform.

Lorenzen who comes with more than two decades of experience in strategic account management, large deals pursuits, and sales excellence, will be responsible for leading APMEA’s sales, marketing, and partnerships teams.

He will also work closely with Wipro’s Growth Office, bringing together the best of the company’s integrated capabilities and global scale to customers in the region. He will be based out of Dubai. 

Before joining Wipro, he held a series of progressively higher positions in companies such as Hewlett Packard (HP), Injazat and Nilfisk.
