Wipro has appointed Ankush Saigal as head of the telecom industry sector, in Southeast Asia.
In his new role, Saigal will be responsible for driving Wipro's business growth in the telecom sector in Southeast Asia. His other responsibilities include helping clients accelerate their transformation journey and realise their growth ambitions by reimagining operating models and enhancing customer experience.
Saigal comes with a proven track record in IT and associated services. His expertise includes enabling clients to digitally transition to business-aligned service models. He has experience in the automotive industry, manufacturing, insurance, public sector, telco, travel and logistics.
His specialisaton ranges from digital transformation (RPA, blockchain, machine learning, AI), business development, account management, consulting, and solution sales to enterprise software.
Saigal successfully managed large and complex system integration and outsourcing deals, advisory relations, alliance management, GTM strategy, deal crafting, financial and business analytics.
Building and managing teams, establishing delivery and business processes for new verticals and geographies have been some of his fortes.
