Data management and security company Cohesity has announced the appointment of Sanjay Rohatgi as Group Vice President (GVP) of Sales for Asia-Pacific & Japan. 

In his new role, Rohatgi will be responsible for leading Cohesity’s sales and customer engagement efforts in the region.

Rohtagi brings over three decades of information and communications technology industry experience and leadership in the APAC region. His experience spans IT, sales, business development, product marketing, and consulting services. 

In his most recent role, Rohatgi held the role of senior vice president for the APAC region and general manager for Data Storage & Cloud Storage solutions at NetApp, where he drove sales throughout the region, managed strategic partnership, and refocused marketing around customer-centricity.

Before Cohesity Rohatgi held a range of sales leadership and business operations roles at Symantec, Cisco, Nortel Networks, Telstra, and British Telecom Research Labs.
