Hewlett Packard Enterprises (HPE) has announced the appointment of Kristin Major as Executive Vice President and Chief People Officer, effective from February 1, 2024.

Kristin will work directly with Antonio Neri, President and CEO of HPE. She will assume responsibilities from EVP of HR, Alan May, who held the role for the last eight years. Alan will continue to support the company’s merger with Juniper Networks.

In her new role, Kristin brings over 28 years of experience and will be responsible towards HR function, focusing on innovation, talent management, diversity and inclusion, compensation and benefits, as well as culture. She has been associated with the company in various roles since 2011. She previously held the position of Senior Vice President and Chief Talent Officer for the last year. Prior to that, she served as Senior VP of Human Resources at Aruba for over four years. She also worked with Skadden Arps as Counsel for Labour and Employment and with Snell & Wilmer as an Attorney.

On the academic front, Kristin holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Arizona and completed a Juris Doctor programme at Georgetown University Law Centre.
