Green Dot appoints Michael Meston as Chief Human Resources Officer

Green Dot Corporation, a US-based fintech company, has announced the appointment of Michael Meston as Chief Human Resources Officer, with immediate effect.

In his new role, Meston brings over four decades of leadership experience across manufacturing, IT, semiconductor, and technology sectors. He will be responsible for driving culture and people initiatives, in direct coordination with George Gresham, the Chief Executive Officer of the company.

Before his appointment, Meston worked with Bruker as the Vice President and Head of Human Resources. In his previous roles, he served at Dexcom as the Senior Director of Global Operations HR Business Partner, at Western Digital as the VP of Global Human Resources for APAC, US, and EMEA, and at Intel as the Director of HR for Malaysia and EMEA. His core competencies include employee benefits, compensation and benefits, workforce planning, mergers and acquisitions, talent management, performance management, strategic HR, and team leadership.

Welcoming Meston on the leadership team, CEO Gresham said, “Michael is a proven human resources leader with the right experience in organisational change and talent development to help lead Green Dot as we build a workforce committed to seamlessly connecting more people and businesses to their money.
