Citi names Omar Hafeez as new head of North Africa, Levant and Central Asia
Earlier Hafeez was the managing director & corporate bank head of Citi in Japan, the third largest for Citi globally.
Banking group Citi has announced the appointment of its new head for North Africa, Levant and Central Asia operations.
Citi has named Omar Hafeez as head of its North Africa, Levant and Central Asia operations based in Dubai after a reorganisation of the company's MENA region, reports Reuters.
Earlier Hafeez was the managing director & corporate bank head of Citi in Japan, the third largest for Citi globally. Hafeez's association with Citi started in 2004. He joined Citi as corporate bank head of Citibank Pakistan.
The North Africa, Levant and Central Asia sub-cluster consists of Algeria, Tunisia, Morocco, Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon, Turkey, Kazakhstan and Israel, Citi said.
