ANSR, which helps global organisations accelerate digital transformation and technology innovation through global capability centers (GCCs), today announced the appointment of Ayon Banerjee as its president to provide leadership for the company’s next phase of growth and transformation.
Banerjee brings to ANSR extensive experience of having incubated and scaled global businesses in large organisations, with a unique blend of strategic mindset and deep execution rigour, the company said in a statement.
He brings close to three decades of operational experience at leading brands across the US, Europe, and Asia. Prior to joining ANSR, Banerjee worked extensively in consulting, technology and telecommunications companies in senior executive roles.
In his most recent stint, Banerjee was managing director & partner at Boston Consulting Group (BCG) where he was a core leader of the TMT practice in addition to leading the firm’s TURN practice in India.
“I am delighted to welcome Ayon to ANSR and look forward to partnering with him as we aim to deliver exceptional impact to our customers. ANSR has now successfully pivoted to a platform-based subscription model with wide adoption across our customers. As we look to significantly scale our platform-led GCC business, Ayon will lead our exciting growth journey ahead,” said Lalit Ahuja, founder and CEO, ANSR.
Enterprises globally are re-calibrating their talent and location strategies to accelerate their digital transformation journey, stay relevant and competitive. GCCs are at a critical inflection point, where they are considered as a strategic partner to the enterprises in their transformation agenda.
"With GCCs increasingly becoming the digital engine for enterprises, the sector is poised for significant growth and I look forward to building on ANSR’s highly skilled team, strong base of products and services, and its rich portfolio of world-class clients,” said Banerjee.
