Accenture appoints Karalee Close as global talent & organisation lead

With more than two decades of industry experience, Karalee Close brings vast expertise in technology, digital & AI transformation, and organisation.

Accenture has appointed Karalee Close to lead Accenture’s Talent & Organization practice and join the company’s Global Management Committee, effective immediately.

In this global role, Close will be responsible for leading and expanding Accenture’s Talent & Organisation practice, which helps companies and their leaders fuel sustainable growth by connecting people and technology to unlock human ingenuity; finding ways to access, create, and unlock new talent; and designing an organisation built to thrive amid change.

Close comes with a career spanning more than two decades of senior regional and global leadership roles while based in Toronto, Paris and London. She brings deep expertise in strategy, technology, people, change and organisation, and digital & AI transformation services across global industries and markets, coupled with a highly successful track record of CEO advisory relationships. 

Most recently, Close was Managing Director & Senior Partner and served as Vice Chair, Tech & Digital at The Boston Consulting Group. She is an active supporter of DE&I, women in technology, and new ways of working. Before joining the Boston Consulting Group, Close held senior management positions in corporate planning and information systems in healthcare.

In addition to leading Accenture’s Talent & Organization practice, Close will serve as a member of Accenture’s Global Management Committee and Accenture’s Global Strategy & Consulting group. She will be based out of Vancouver.
