Sanjay is the Head of Capability Development at ITC Infotech. The Capability Development function is tasked with Skill and Capability upgrade activities across the entire organization and also innovating on learning techniques using newer methods and formats. Sanjay also guides the initiative across HR on leveraging Analytics as a meaningful tool for bringing a sharper focus on key strategic areas of processes and people management.
Prior to his current role, he was heading the Domain &Solutions Group for BFSI Practice at ITC Infotech. He has over 25 years of experience in information technology and operations. His business & technology experience spans across Retail Banking, Insurance, Wealth Management and Trading Systems.
Prior to ITC Infotech, he has worked in financial and transportation fields across the world. Some of the key assignments he has handled include HCL Technologies – Head Solutions Consulting Group, Capital Markets, Capital One Services, USA – Technology liaison – International Business Team, WESTPORT, Kelang Multi Terminal Sdn. Bhd., Malaysia – CIO, Citibank, India (Global Consumer Bank) – System Manager for Retail Banking, India & Singapore
Sanjay has completed MBA (Finance) from Wharton Business School, Pennsylvania in 1993 and Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Instrumentation & Mechanical) from BITS, Pilani in 1986.
