Ms Aakanksha Bhargava, CEO & President at PMR. Aakanksha Bhargava, CEO & President at PMR is the only woman in the country who is leading a move management company at a large scale, in an industry that is pre-dominantly labour intensive and male-oriented. Having joined the family owned business at 21, Aakanksha scaled the ranks from being Manager in International Sales to spearheading growth and expansion and single-handedly setting up 14 offices within no time in her current role. PMR was a company that was born ahead of its time as early as 1986 when packing and moving was a highly disorganized business entailing hiring of trucks and third party labourers. It is one of the early entrants that set about systematizing the services in this sector and is credited for catalyzing some of the major changes in the Indian relocation industry since the past three decades. Aakanksha’s passion for her job and patience towards her vision has played an important role in driving the company to its current status.
