HR as a part of a company, when it began, had the singular task of hiring people for work. With time, this work description began evolving, and more responsibilities were added to this work domain. Now, HR is not only about hiring individuals but more about taking care of an employee's engagement skills, their wellbeing at work, and providing and empowering employees in new-age skills that have become the need of the hour to succeed in the future of work. 

In the future, with the involvement of technology and automation being heavy in all sectors of work, HR will undoubtedly be no exception. Head of HR Technology

As opposed to finding HR leaders being chained to their cabins and desks, the future of this designation is more than just being called the Head of the Department. The future of HR is changing with the digital revolution, and a few things that the future HR needs to be capable of performing is improving the employee experience and keeping the organization competitive and agile.
