For a lot of women, the pressure to balance work and life is self-imposed: Turing's Irena Stetska

“I think for a lot of women the pressure of balancing between work and life is self-imposed because it is the trait of women to feel more responsible to be successful at work, as well as to be a perfect caregiver. I personally know many women who have struggled to find the right balance and just set the right boundaries between work and home life,” said Irena Stetska, Sales Leader at Turing.

Talking about the changing work-life balance structure of women since the onset of the pandemic, Irena noted that many companies have shown progressiveness in offering flexibility to women employees.

She added that the support has been a crucial player for the women during the pandemic. And what seemed nothing but data two years ago actually turned out to be an amazing opportunity to transform women’s life and career, and to find a better work-life balance and more inner peace

Irena said, “I strongly believe that in the long run, the remote first culture that the world is currently embracing means more opportunities for women to achieve that better work-life balance. I am hopeful that this is going to enable women to be productive both at work and at home, as well as in some cases to pursue their passions apart from work.”
