Five reasons to 'swipe right' for HR, this Valentine’s Day

Dating the HR manager sounds a bit risky, and some of you may agree, and some of you may think it’s a stupid idea. We might think of HR professionals as being very serious, but they do have some qualities that would make them ideal partners! As Valentine's Day is just two days away, how about finding an HR for a valentine?

Strong communication skills

When you are in a dilemma of starting a conversation with someone and unable to crack it. Your partner will have your back. HR personnel are always spot on when it comes to talking to people and making them comfortable. Active communication will help you to enhance your communication skills in your personal and professional life. 

No need for reminders

It can go against you some time if you missed out on anniversaries, birthdays or any particular day. But, you don’t need Alexa or your calendar to remember dates, data, and numbers. HR can remember dates of your birthday, your parents, your ex, and even your pet without fail, and they will make you realize the importance of those dates by wishing you before-hand. 

No discrimination 

Well, you have not only swiped right, but you have swiped the appropriate person for your future. HR is the one who creates office policies without any discrimination. You can keep calm and be you in front of him/her, and your partner will not judge you, and neither discriminate against you on any parameters. What else one needs if your other half is someone who keeps discrimination miles away. On the other hand, there will be no favoritism at the workplace, which will not lead you to any embarrassment.

Good negotiation skills 

The HR managers are very good at negotiating to make sure they work within the set budget to maximize company profits, managing household and others. You have to believe in their negotiation skills with the local vegetable vendors, cab guys and even with your mother in law. 

Multitasking abilities 

On an average workday, an HR manager deals with an employee’s complaint one minute, answers a maternity leave question the next, and then develops an effective recruiting strategy for a difficult to fill the position after. Just imagine how easy your life can be if your partner is an HR manager. Time management and multitasking together in one package. What else you need in your life. 

Jokes apart, go and swipe right an HR professionals if you haven’t done yet. Keep in mind that March is coming!!!
