Valentino elevates Matteo Di Pasquale to CHRO role

Valentino has announced the promotion of Matteo Di Pasquale to the role of Chief Human Resources Officer, effective immediately.

Matteo will report directly to CEO Jacopo Venturini. He joined the Italian luxury fashion brand in 2021 as the Director of Compensation and Benefits for HR Cost Control, Payroll, and Travel. In July 2023, he was appointed as the Acting CHRO ad interim for Maison.

In his new role, Matteo brings over 22 years of industry experience, including expertise in compensation and benefits, organizational development, change management, performance management, employee assessment, job evaluation systems, talent management, HRIS, labour and industrial relations, and leadership development.

Before joining Valentino, Matteo held various leadership roles, such as Industrial Relations Manager at AbbVie, Head of Organization, Compensation and Benefits, and Labor Relations at Mercedes-Benz Italia, and HR Business Partner. He has also worked with leading organizations, including Accenture, Hay Group, and BNL Group.

Announcing Matteo’s promotion on LinkedIn, Valentino stated, "The decision to appoint Matteo to this central role is linked to the great opportunity to provide continuity to the evolution process of Valentino's HR strategy, which began a few years ago. His versatile experience, both in terms of the sectors he has worked in and the HR skills acquired in various roles, will be crucial to further sustain and implement the company culture of Maison. In his new role, Matteo will serve as an ambassador of Valentino’s Colleague Centric vision, continuing to define and evolve the HR management path aimed at supporting sustainable business growth for the Company."
