ServiceNow appoints Sukumar Rathnam, Uber CTO to its Board of Directors

American software company ServiceNow recently appointed Uber CTO Sukumar Rathnam to its board of directors. After this appointment, the number of Board members increased to 12. 

 

Bill McDermott, ServiceNow CEO praised Rathnam’s experience of digital innovation in some of the biggest brands in the world. He expressed confidence in Rathnam’s capabilities which will guide ServiceNow’s journey as the defining enterprise software company of the 21st century.

 

Rathnam also worked at Uber as CTO where he was responsible for the company’s global engineering organization. Also in his a 9 year stint at Amazon, he led product management, software engineering, machine learning, and business operations for selection and catalog systems. Rathnam also held prominent software engineering and architecture leadership roles at Microsoft, PeopleSoft, and Oracle.

 

Rathnam stated that he is proud to join ServiceNow’s Board and wishes to work together to create more efficient, productive ways to reshape the business and achieve digital growth.
