Singapore Manufacturing Federation names new CEO and first CSO

The Singapore Manufacturing Federation (SMF) has appointed Dennis Mark as its chief executive officer.  Dennis Mark’s appointment will be effective from June 15. The federation has re-designated the position of secretary-general to CEO.

Mark has more than 20 years of experience in the manufacturing sector in multinational corporations under the HP group.

In addition to the CEO appointment, the federation has also announced the appointment of its first chief sustainability officer (CSO). Clement Teo has been named the CSO of the federation effective Jun 5. Teo comes with experience in leading sales and operational teams across the Asean region in TUV-SUD, an organisation in the testing, inspection and certification industry.

The Singapore Manufacturing Federation (SMF) is the largest national organisation. It is a forefront trade federation serving the manufacturing community by driving digitalisation, innovation-led productivity, business transformation and internationalisation towards enhancing the competitiveness of its member companies.

Currently, the SMF has about 5,000 corporate members, comprising SMEs, MNCs and Affiliate Members. Corporate members are categorised into 10 Industry Groups and supported by its Associated Services to address each industry’s unique and specific needs and interests.
