Hubilo ramps up hiring, appoints six new executives

Virtual and hybrid event solution platform, Hubilo recently announced the appointment of six senior executives to its management team to ramp up business growth across the globe.

Hubilo has appointed Cathy Song Novelli as Senior Vice President, Marketing and Communications; Greg Volm as new Senior Vice President of Sales; Anita Menon as Senior Vice President, Culture and Talent; Abhishek Jain as Vice President, Finance; Sudip Mitra as Senior Vice President in Engineering; Shailesh Hegde as Head Product Division.

With over two decades of experience, Novelli joins the team as SVP, Marketing and Communications. She brings expertise in diverse segments of marketing, product revenue development and brand management. Volm, with over 20 years of experience, joins the sales department of Hubilo. He has previously managed a number of operational roles and gained expertise in sales, marketing and customer experience.

Menon has previously handled different leadership and management roles. She comes with over two decades of experience in Human resources, human behaviors and analytics, start-up development, advisory and consulting. Abhishek Jain brings with himself over 15 years of experience in putting together go-to-market strategies, finance, fundraising, risk and investor management. Mitra, a seasoned technology leader, has over 13 years of experience in B2B and B2C, mentoring, marketing automation, architecture management and cloud friendly products and services. He joins Hubilo as SVP in Engineering. Hegde, former Director of Product Management at BlueJeans, comes with ample experience in product management, software development, automation infrastructure and UI development.

Commenting on the recent recruitment drive, Vaibhav Jain, founder and CEO, Hubilo mentioned the company's agenda to create a stronghold in the international markets with strong recruits. Jain is looking forward to charting the next growth phase with the new expertise and affirmative attitude. It further plans on expanding the talent pool up to 400 employees by the end of this year.

As a part of Hublio's recruitment drive, it has managed to gather 270 employees over a period of one year, marking the next growth phase.  The company now has a total of 300 full-time employees from the US, Europe and India. This comes after a $23.5 million fund raising round in February this year, led by Lightspeed Venture Partners and Balderton Capital. With the newly formed leadership panel, Hubilo plans on targeting go-to-market teams centered in the US and Europe, further boosting business growth.
