Ali Intres joins Forbes as Senior Vice President, Human Resources & Talent Management

Forbes CEO Mike Federle today announced the appointment of Ali Intres as Senior Vice President, Human Resources and Talent Management. An industry veteran with significant experience in media and advertising, Intres will oversee all facets of HR for Forbes, including recruitment, training and development, benefits administration, culture and inclusion and more.

“Ali is an accomplished media and advertising executive who understands our industry and shares our belief in a people-first culture,” Federle said. “She joins us at a unique moment in time and will help us continue to nurture and cultivate our employees, who are pulling together and persevering in exceptional service to our audience and to our marketing partners.”

Intres joins Forbes from Digitas, where she served as Senior Vice President of Talent and Business Operations for the East Coast and was a member of the agency’s leadership team. Prior to Digitas, Intres worked at Time, Inc., where she oversaw all facets of HR for the company’s central business groups.

Intres brings a global mindset to Forbes, and previously was based in The Netherlands, where she led global recruitment efforts for SHELL. Earlier in her career, Intres was a recruiting manager for Meredith Corporation and previously Worth Magazine.

“I’ve long admired the Forbes brand and its purpose-driven mission of celebrating the people who are driving change in business, culture and society,” Intres said. “I see the incredible innovation that’s happening within the organization, and I look forward to helping position Forbes and its employees for continued success.”

Earlier this year, Federle announced that Margy Loftus, who had held the position of SVP of Human Resources, will be retiring at the end of May, marking an end to a storied 40-year career in media/publishing, including 22 years at Forbes.

“Margy has deftly helped steer our company over the last two decades, recruiting and nurturing talent who were at the heart of our early and successful transition to digital,” Federle said. “We wish her the very best in her retirement and thank her for her many years of commitment and dedication.”
