EPIC appoints Muhtar Bin Suhaili as new group CEO

EPIC appoints Muhtar Bin Suhaili as new group CEO

Eastern Pacific Industrial Corporation Bhd (EPIC) has appointed Muhtar Bin Suhaili as the new group chief executive officer (CEO) effective April 17. Suhaili has succeeded Encik Ridzuan Ali, whose tenure as CEO is ending on April 16.

Suhaili brings more than 20 years of experience in the oil and gas, automotive, commodities, port management, logistics, and renewable energy sectors. In his most recent previous role with the EPIC, Suhaili worked as group chief operating officer.

As the Group Chief Operating Officer (GCOO) of EPIC Berhad, he was responsible for overseeing the operations and performance of the group and its subsidiaries and joint ventures in the oil and gas, port management, logistics sector, and renewable energy. 

Suhaili earned his Bachler degree in Mechatronics Engineering from the International Islamic University Malaysia and obtained a Master’s degree in Petroleum Technology from Curtin University in Australia.
