Australian cybersecurity company, Tesserent, with the acquisition of Lateral Security is expanding its cybersecurity services in New Zealand to complement Lateral Security’s advisory and assurance business that it has already created in the market. Tesserent will create a program to seek new clients and key alliances to further its growth strategy in the region. Actively hiring more cybersecurity professionals is also one of the prerogatives.

Tesserent has announced the appointment of Hamish Soper as Tesserent New Zealand’s senior partner. He will be heading the expansion of Tesserent’s additional services in the region. Soper will work in close proximity with Lateral Security founders Ratu Mason and Nick von Dadelszen to flower Tesserent’s growth ambition in New Zealand.  Prior to Tesserent, Soper has worked as New Zealand country manager at Check Point Technologies for well over a decade.
