Audi SG names new MD as former MD, Jeff Mannering takes Brand Director role in Korea
Markus Schuster is the new MD of Audi Singapore

Audi Singapore has elevated Markus Schuster to the Managing Director (MD) of the company. Schuster has succeeded Jeff Mannering who has moved to be the brand director within Audi Volkswagen Korea. 

Schuster who has been with Audi for 17 years, was working at the brand's headquarters in Germany, and for Audi Italia. Schuster last helmed the role of Head of Used Car Sales Management in Germany where he was responsible for the brand’s pre-owned vehicle sales business with a volume in excess of 80,000 units annually. He was also the head of product marketing within Audi Italia for over four years.

According to the company, he brings with him a wealth of experience from various positions including sales, marketing and business development for different markets.

Talking about the compnay progress, the new MD of Audi Singapore, shared in media, "Audi is a success story here in Singapore and the region. We continue to grow our sales volumes and are closer to our customers and partners than ever before. We are in the midst of very exciting changes in the car industry, and want to lead this development in terms of mobility, electrification and sustainability.”

Prior to joining the Audi, Schuster was a market research executive at Porsche for six months. Apart from his experience within automotive group, he has stints at global PR agency Burson-Marsteller, German Comdirect Bank AG and market research company Gfk.

Schuster is a Psychology graduate from Heidelberg University and has done MS in Psychology and Business Administration from the University of Mannheim.
