Culture Amp appoints Katharine Coombes as VP Talent

Employee experience platform Culture Amp has named Katharine Coombes vice president of Talent as the company gears up for achieving global reach.

Based in London, Katharine joins Culture Amp after 10 years at LinkedIn, where she led the talent acquisition strategy across a variety of geographies, including two years leading a global team during a period of hyper growth.

Katharine held leadership roles chairing employee resource groups such as Women @ LinkedIn; re-designed internal hiring; and helped grow the APAC employee base from 30 to 3,000. She is known for spearheading hyper growth and building strategic rigour.

"Katharine is a true global talent leader and we are excited to have someone of her calibre working out of EMEA as we continue to grow our global footprint. With our team expected to pass more than 800 Campers in the next six months, we are thrilled to have Katharine join the team to lead our talent acquisition strategy," said Didier Elzinga, co-founder and CEO of Culture Amp.

As Culture Amp continues its growth momentum – following a recent US$100m funding round – Katharine will oversee global talent acquisition.

Last week, the fast-growing EX firm also announced the acquisition of values recognition start-up Disco for an undisclosed sum, along with the appointment of Anna Binder, Asana's Head of People Operations, to the Board of Directors.

"Every leader I met through the interview process showed exceptional vision and integrity for making the world of work better for employees," Katharine said. She will now focus on further strengthening the team and building a strong global talent pipeline for Culture Amp.
