Ricoh Singapore Pte Ltd. has opened the doors to its new facility, equipped with its proprietary next-generation collaboration and productivity solutions. The completely transformed office, located at Mapletree Business City, is in line with Ricoh’s new value proposition - Digital Workplace Services and includes digital workplace consultation, planning, and implementation, via a seamless integration of people, space and technology.

Digital Workplace Services embraces the design and creation of workplaces to help businesses reap the benefits of work style innovation, leveraging digital technology solution designs along with the comprehensive change management initiatives needed to ensure success.  

The workplace calls for a new approach that includes the easy sharing of information from the cloud with new intelligent multifunction devices, automated business processes, a meeting room solution to improve room usage efficiency and unified communications systems equipped with interactive whiteboards that improve communication, collaboration and connectivity.

 Kazuhisa Goto, Managing Director, Ricoh Asia Pacific stated, “This is the latest phase of our long-term strategy to transform Ricoh workplaces across the region, in order to meet the new challenges of today’s digital world.  Ricoh’s Digital Workplace Services is our response to these challenges, meeting the expectations of talent from the digital native generation, and deploying our latest innovative technologies that will boost productivity and collaboration, improve staff engagement and empower staff to work smarter.”

 The move comes as Ricoh aims to create a more technologically empowered and space-efficient workplace to enhance its employees’ efficiency, productivity, collaboration and most importantly engagements with its customers. As a result of the transformation, Ricoh has seen 25 percent overall space-saving while providing three times more common space to all staff and help reduce the office cost by 10 percent. As companies the world over transform to align their employees with digital transformation, transforming the workplace also to reflect this change becomes imperative, in order to prepare their office for workforces of the future.
