After Amazon and PepsiCo, Adobe sacks nearly 100 staff to reduce expenses

Several companies, such as Amazon, PepsiCo, HealthifyMe and others have recently fired their employees. Latest to join the list is Adobe.

In a bid to reduce expenses, Adobe has laid off nearly 100 employees mainly from the sales team. The software company employed around 28,700 workers, as per its Q3 2022 financial report. 

According to Bloomberg, Adobe is helping out affected employees by providing opportunities to find other positions at the software company.

In a statement to the publication, Adobe said that the company "shifted some employees to positions that support critical initiatives" and wiped out "a small number" of other jobs. On the other hand, the company is also “hiring for critical roles."
