A recent white paper published by The Economist Corporate Network (ECN) highlights that senior business leaders are demanding the workers to insert more human touch in their tasks. This comes after the technology is getting the upper hand into the nature of work.

The chief executives are concerned about the interference of Artificial Intelligence in the workplace and employees’ demand for flexible environments.

The leadership team finds it difficult on how to transform the culture of a company to succeed in a digitally competitive business environment.

The paper highlights that CEOs think collaborating across borders in a globalized business world is a significant move because employees are willing to work across geographies. 

The research also points out the new mantra of the CEOs, which is 'adapt or die.' 

 64.7% of respondents believe in an approach based on accelerating the arrival of automation and AI into the workplace. This is a massive increase from only 40.5%, when the research was conducted in last year.
