Young America Capital appoints Steven Zelac as Senior Managing Director

Young America Capital LLC ("YAC"), a New York-based FINRA/SEC-registered independent investment banking and advisory firm, announced that it has named Steven Zelac as Senior Managing Director and Head of Investment Banking for industrials, chemicals and manufacturing ("ICM"). Zelac brings more than 30 years of experience in corporate development and strategic finance. 

Before joining the firm, Steven held leadership roles with four Fortune 500/1000 publicly-traded companies, including W.R. Grace & Co., Alcoa, DuPont and BrightView, where he focused on growth, development and restructuring programs while completing more than 70 transactions of varying size with total enterprise valuation in excess of $25 billion. He has a wide range of industry experience across the sector, including chemicals, specialty chemicals, specialty materials, manufacturing, industrial, packaging, energy, building products, and technology.

Marc Schneider, senior managing director, and Mark Chlapowski, Executive Director at YAC will join Steven and comprise the ICM Core Team. Each brings significant prior transactional experience across the sector. Together, the ICM Core Team has completed more than 100 transactions exceeding $50 billion in TEV.
