Telstra appoints MD for South Asia and Singapore

Based in Singapore, former DXC Technology executive Geraldine Kor will now head Telstra's business across the South Asia and Southeast Asia markets.
Telstra appoints MD for South Asia and Singapore

Melbourne-headquartered telecommunications company Telstra announced on January 12 that it has appointed Geraldine Kor as Managing Director, South Asia and Country Managing Director, Singapore.

Kor joined Telstra from DXC Technology, where she was Director of Global Alliances and Partnerships, Asia Pacific, and also held the position of Chief Operating Officer. She has considerable experience in the technology and mobile space, having also held positions with HERE Technologies and Nokia Mobile Asia Pacific.

In her new role, Kor will be responsible for the Australia, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, New Zealand, Philippines, Singapore, and Thailand markets. According to the announcement, she will also lead Telstra's diversity and inclusion efforts, including championing the company's Brilliant Connected Women committee within the South Asia team.
