Pavilion Energy names Alan Heng as interim Group Chief Executive Officer

Heng will succeed Frédéric H. Barnaud, who has recently stepped down from the said designation.
Pavilion Energy names Alan Heng as interim Group Chief Executive Officer

Pavilion Energy, a Singapore based liquefied natural gas (LNG) bunker supplier and a wholly owned subsidiary of Temasek, recently announced the appointment of Alan Heng, as interim Group Chief Executive Officer. Heng's interim appointment is effective from August 26, 2021.

Heng is presently the Managing Director at Pavilion Energy, who will be succeeding Frédéric H. Barnaud, former Group CEO. Barnaud, who joined Pavilion Energy in 2018, has decided to relinquish the post of Group CEO due to personal reasons and to spend more time with his family. Prior to Pavilion Energy, Barnaud worked at Gazprom Marketing and Trading as Chief Executive Officer.

Pavilion Energy Chairman, Tan Sri Mohd Hassan Marican, on Barnaud's resignation mentioned his contribution for the growth of the company's LNG business and its expansion across the European market. Marican further thanked Barnaud for his services to the company.

Heng has over three decades of leadership experience in energy industry, business development and management. Prior to Pavilion Energy, Heng worked at ExxonMobil as Regional Manager for Pacific Islands and Oceania. He has served diverse leadership roles at a number of companies including Refining NZ, Mobil Oil New Zealand Limited and Mobil Taiwan.
