Cohesity appoints Kevin Delane as Chief Revenue Officer

Data management software firm Cohesity announced this week that Kevin Delane has been appointed Chief Revenue Officer, effective immediately. He takes over from Michael Cremen, whose departure was announced last month. The company has not disclosed transition plans.

Delane has almost 30 years' experience in IT, the last decade or so in data storage and management. Prior to joining Cohesity, he was Vice President of Worldwide Sales at Pure Storage, where he was responsible for the company’s global go-to-market strategy and played a role in preparing the company for its IPO in 2015. Before that he was at data centre company IO, now Iron Mountain, and he also led business operations at Isilon, the data storage arm of Dell EMC.

Mohit Aron, founder and CEO of Cohesity, said that Delane's track record in advancing global go-to-market strategies and consistently delivering strong results will benefit the business going forward. "With an extensive knowledge of the technology industry, strong partner and international expertise, and a management approach that puts culture first, Kevin will play a key role in accelerating our global momentum,” he said of the appointment.
