Crawford will join the association on 1 July from the boutique consulting firm she founded.
CFA Institute names Carole Crawford Managing Director for the Americas

CFA Institute, the global association for investment professionals, has announced the appointment of Carole Crawford as Managing Director for the Americas region, effective 1 July. She will be based in New York and report to Lutfey Siddiqi, Managing Director fr Regions and Society Relations.

Crawford has over 25 years of industry experience. She was formerly Managing Partner of fincap360, a boutique global family-office consulting and CFO practice which she founded in 2007. Prior to that, she was with investment banking firms Raymond James and Morgan Stanley.

She is also the founder of 100WFinTech, a 100 Women in Finance initiative that aims to drive the global visibility of female fintech leaders, and serves on the board of directors of 100 Women in Finance.

Margaret Franklin, President and CEO of CFA Institute, said that Crawford brings an “exceptional skill set” to the association. “She is a CFA charterholder who has been a long-time practitioner. She understands the complexity of the financial landscape and has been a trusted advisor to her clients over the years. And she knows us well from her volunteer service on the Board of CFA Society New York and the CFA Institute Capital Markets Policy Council.”
